The Tuesday Beach Club Reunited

I don't think any of us realized how much we missed our friends until we saw them this past weekend. When we were here in the summer of 2008, we met Lisa and her family on the beach. The kids really hit it off, so we started meeting regularly and we called ourselves The Tuesday Beach Club. We had arranged to meet for ice cream and as soon as Talya and Ayelet saw Lisa, they ran right over and gave her big hugs, I guess they remembered. I very quickly remembered how kindly and lovingly Lisa and her family looked out for the me and the girls when we were on the Cape alone that summer, always helping me out when I had my hands full at the beach, inviting us to dinner, meeting us for ice cream, or simply calling us to check in. I suspect that we will see them frequently during our trip this summer, perhaps they will even meet Ron.
