Ayelet is a Climber and Other 1 Year Stats

Yesterday, Ayelet had her one year well check with the doctor. Here are her stats:
Weight - 18.8 lbs (10th percentile)
Height - 29.25 in (50th percentile)
She has a few words, but not many. She has added "duck", "uh oh", and a version of "just kidding" to her vocabulary. She also communicates by pointing to what she needs or where she wants to go. She does a bit of signing, "more" and "all done" are her two most frequent. Most recently, she has started shaking her head no when she doesn't want something or someone. She very emphatically lets us know what she doesn't want.

She is sleeping well, going down around 7:00 pm and then sleeping through until 4-5 am, then usually she is back to sleep again for a couple more hours. She is napping once a day for a couple of hours at a time. I had forgotten what it was like to get a solid stretch of sleep - wow.

She is crawling well and pulling herself to standing. She isn't walking yet, but she climbs everything that she can access. She is fearless when it comes to climbing from the floor on to the chair, on to the table, then to standing on the table... I don't know where she gets that from...

Most notably, with everything that she does, she wants to be just like her big sisters. She loves to climb onto the little chair and eat breakfast with Talya. If the big girls are playing with a toy, she wants to be involved as well. If the big girls are singing (or benching), she sings along too. Whatever they are eating, she wants some too. It is very clear who her favorite people are.

I will work on posting some Disney pics after Shabbos!
