Ron finished
Ayelet's room and we were all SO excited...
It is so beautiful and airy, with a big picture window, lots of shelves, a changing nook and gorgeous lighting...
And there is space for her stuff, and for storage.
And we love her ladybug bedding that the girls and I so lovingly picked out about a year ago...
And she seemed to love her crib and her room - at first.
.... then it was bed time, I went through her bed time routine, bathed her, read to her, nursed her, brushed her teeth, dimmed the lights and then it hit her. She realized that we were going to leave her in that room, in that bed. She cried. She pointed at the door. And then we lay her down and she rolled over on her side and fell asleep. In her bed. In her room. Without me. And I went downstairs and cried.
